Hours

Wednesday to Sunday, 17:00 – 22:30

You turn off the highway and the first thing you see is the lamps in the front windows. That alone made me feel looked after, long before anyone had said a word to me.

Which way should I come?

From the Eyre Highway, drive into the centre of Ceduna and turn into Poynton Street. The building is a long limestone front with lit windows, and you will see the lamps before you see the number. Kerbside parking runs along the whole front of the building, and there is rarely any difficulty finding a space before seven.

If you walk from the water, the route is level and takes about ten minutes. The jetty is behind you, the main street runs up to the first corner and the house stands a short way along on the left. After dark the street is well lit, and a member of staff will happily walk you back to your car.

Where is the house in the town?

Poynton Street is a short walk from the water and the main shopping street. The limestone building has a ramp at the front step, and the lane to the rear car park is on its left-hand side.

Getting here

What do visitors ask about the way in?

Is the car park lit?

Yes. A lamp over the rear gate is kept alight until the last guest has left, and a member of staff will accompany anyone who would like company as far as their car.

Is there room for a caravan?

The kerb outside is long enough for a car and a small trailer, but not for a large caravan. Guests travelling on the highway with a caravan should ring ahead, and we will suggest where to leave it.

Is the entrance step-free?

The front step has a gentle ramp with a rail on one side. The doorway is wide enough for a wheelchair, and Felicity Morrison will open both leaves of the door when you ring ahead.

Can I be picked up late?

We are happy to call a taxi for you at any time during the evening. In a town this size the wait is usually ten minutes, and you are welcome to sit in the front hall until it arrives.

Do you have a postal address?

Our street address is the only one in use, and letters addressed to it will reach the front desk. For reservations, e-mail is faster than post, and Felicity checks the inbox throughout the day.
